What happens during a Toastmaster meeting?
A Toastmaster meeting is a perfect opportunity for you to practice public speaking, impromptu speeches and speaking English in a friendly environment!
We hold official meetings with prepared speeches and table topics section, useful workshops and social events to network and have fun.
During a typical official meeting, club members undertake different roles to keep our evening engaging and running smoothly.
Guests are always welcome to join our events and club!
Roles
Team of Functionaries:
Toastmaster of the Day: a meeting's director and host, picks the topic of the day.
Grammarian: helps club members improve their grammar and vocabulary.
Timer: responsible for monitoring time for each meeting segment and each speaker.
Table Topics Master: delivers the Table Topics portion of the meeting
Speakers and Evaluators:
Speakers: deliver prepared speeches for 5-7 minutes
Speech Evaluators: Speech Evaluators provide verbal and written feedback to meeting speakers
General Evaluator: evaluates everything that takes place during the club meeting.
Two sections
speeches for about 5-7 minutes each
for members only
improptu speeches for 1-2 minutes, led by the Table Topics Master
both guests and members can participate

Two Winners
Best Table Topic Speaker - the winner of Table Topics section (impromptu speeches), voted by the audience.
Word of the Day Winner is a partcipant that used the Word of the Day (set up and counted by the Grammarian) most often.
